The Internet has been out for a very long time, and I've known much about it since I was born. Over the years, the Internet has gone through a long, but tough evolution. From dial-ups to wireless connections, the Internet has been both our best friend, but also our darkest enemy. However, I just want to talk about my feelings and thoughts on what the Internet has become today.

It's still both a good friend and also an enemy to me, but that doesn't seem to be the case with people not appreciating what they see on the Internet. Most of these problems with appreciation come out of social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and even Miiverse. I know this from my own experience, because I see the same kind of thing everyday. I always hear the same thing over and over again, whether it's about Donald Dump Truck, the so-called console wars, and a whole lot more. I cannot stress on how much drama there has been on the Internet these days, that it seems to really pull me away from even posting what I like on my own when it comes to Facebook. Despite that, I still post things that I feel like that should be shared, let it be food recipes, funny videos, and things like that. Anything else that doesn't fit in those categories should never be posted. I remember my mom telling me not to post everything on the World Wide Web which was like three years ago, and she's absolutely right on that. Even so, I ended up learning my lesson the hard way.

The Internet may continue to be helpful but also dangerous simultaneously, and without it, life would never be the same. It's unfortunate that many people don't appreciate it like they did back then. If my memory serves me well, 2012 seemed to be a great year for the Internet because of so many good things that came out of it back then, especially those Rhythm Heaven parodies with Team Fortress 2 blended together. Although the Internet has been dropping more bird poo lately via social networking, it's still a powerful tool to rely on, and as long as it stays that way, the Internet can be a good thing to look at.

I remember growing up not having the internet til highschool (1994) then chat rooms started we thought it was the coolest thing talking to people from around the world, but it wasn't really needed for us to have fun. Now you can't get by without it..... pretty wild how things have changed @_@
